Gordon J. Mountford will step down from his role as executive vice president of Huron Healthcare at Huron Consulting Group, the company announced Jan. 6.
"Gordon has made significant contributions to Huron, including building Huron's healthcare business from its infancy to the market leader it is today," said James H. Roth, president and CEO of Huron. "With our proven ability to deliver measurable results, the practice has become the transformation partner for our clients as we address their most pressing strategic, organizational and operational challenges. We thank Gordon for his tremendous service to the firm and wish him the best in the future."
C. Mark Hussey, Huron's executive vice president and COO, has been named interim leader of the healthcare practice while the company searches for a new permanent leader. Mr. Hussey will retain his COO duties during this period.
Huron announced another leadership change Jan. 6. John D. Kelly, a 10-year veteran of the company, has been promoted to executive vice president and CFO. Previously, Mr. Kelly served as corporate vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer. In his new role, Mr. Kelly will retain his position as treasurer.
