HealthSouth has named Kay Peck CEO of the future HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto (Calif.), according to a Central Valley Business Journal report.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Peck.
1. As CEO, she will lead a 50-bed inpatient physical rehabilitation center, scheduled to open in late June.
2. She will oversee day-to-day operations at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto, along with patient quality and care, according to the report.
3. Ms. Peck has spent the last two decades in various management roles at Kindred Healthcare in San Antonio.
4. She earned a bachelor's degree in business and finance and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. She also earned a doctorate degree in public policy/epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health, based in Houston.
