HealthPartners, a nonprofit healthcare provider and health insurance company based in Bloomington, Minn., appointed former Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services financial executive Todd Hofheins as CFO, according to the Star Tribune.
Here are three things to know.
1. Mr. Hofheins will supersede HealthPartner's longtime CFO Dave Dziuk. Mr. Dziuk served as CFO at the nonprofit company for 33 years, and will retire later in 2018.
4. Mr. Hofheins most recently served as CFO at Providence Health & Services. Previously, he held CFO positions at Providence's Northwest Service Area and Providence's Shared Services division.
"He brings an impressive record of success from other organizations, and his leadership will be instrumental in advancing our efforts to improve the health and well-being of our members, patients and the community," HealthPartners CEO Andrea Walsh said of Mr. Hofheins, according to the Star Tribune.
3. HealthPartners employs approximately 25,000 people and operates a range of hospitals in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
