The Health Care Transformation Task Force, a private coalition of patients, payers, providers and purchasers, has named Jeff Micklos executive director.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Micklos.
1. He started his new job Oct. 1.
2. He will be the first executive director of the task force since its formation in 2014.
3. Previously, Mr. Micklos was executive vice president, management, compliance and general counsel of the Federation of American Hospitals, a national trade association representing investor-owned and managed community based hospitals and health systems.
4. Prior to joining the FAH, he was a partner in the national Health Law Department of Foley & Lardner and an attorney in the HHS' Office of General Counsel.
