Richmond, Va.-based HCA Virginia has named John Deardorff CEO of Reston (Va.) Hospital Center, effective Jan. 1, 2013, according to a report by the Washington Business Journal.
Mr. Deardorff will also be the lead executive of the system's Northern Virginia region, which includes Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, a behavioral health facility, and two surgery centers, according to the report.
Mr. Deardorff is replacing Tim McManus, who was promoted in May to CEO of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis hospitals in Richmond.
