HCA North Texas, the Irving-based branch of Hospital Corporation of America, has made two new hires.
Here are eight things to know about the hires.
Denise Dwight has joined HCA North Texas as vice president of patient experience.
1. Previously, Ms. Dwight worked with HCA North Texas as the division patient experience coach through Studer Group, a healthcare consulting company based in Pensacola, Fla.
2. She served as an account leader and coach with Studer Group since 2007.
3. Prior to joining Studer Group, she was chief human resources officer for Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Ore.
4. Ms. Dwight earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Warren National University in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Ben Holland has joined HCA North Texas as a regional vice president of business development.
5. In his new role, Mr. Holland will focus on regional growth and development, including physician partnerships, service line development, and rural outreach. His efforts will support Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth, Medical Center Alliance in Fort Worth, North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, and Medical Center Arlington.
6. He has more than 12 years of healthcare experience, including expansion and development initiatives for more than 90 hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers and freestanding healthcare facilities nationwide.
7. He previously worked at Kurt Salmon, a healthcare management consulting firm based in Atlanta.
8. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., and a master's degree in business administration from Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
