Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky., has named Lennis Thompson vice president and CFO, according to an article from The Lane Report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Thompson.
1. In his new role, Mr. Thompson will oversee the financial health of Hardin Memorial.
2. Mr. Thompson has more than 30 years of experience in financial management, system design and operational review. For the past year, he has served as the controller in finance and was instrumental in improving HMH's financial posture, according to the report. He also previously served as chief accounting officer of Cincinnati-based Catholic Health Partners, now Mercy Health, and as a CFO of Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Healthcare System, now known as Baptist Health.
3. Mr. Thompson has dual degrees in accounting and marketing from Murray (Ky.) State University.
