Hamilton Memorial Hospital District will not renew CEO contract

McLeansboro, Ill.-based Hamilton Memorial Hospital District's board voted not to renew CEO Greg Sims' contract, according to a McLeansboro Times Leader report.

"Given the coming and current financial, regulatory and reimbursement challenges, Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board of Directors has decided to further efforts to better position our district for the future," said President Mike Lewis, according to the report.

Mr. Sims assumed the interim CEO role in November 2014. His previous roles include serving as executive director and vice president of Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon and CEO of Crossroads Community Hospital, also in Mt. Vernon.

Victoria Woodrow, the hospital district's marketing and public relations officer, will take over as interim administrator, according to the report.
