Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health's COO Ann Martorano and CMO Donald Stoner, MD, will both be retiring soon, according to a Daytona Beach News-Journal report.
Ms. Martorano has worked with Halifax Health for 31 years. She previously served as the system's spokesperson and assumed the role of executive vice president and COO in 2013. Mark Billings, currently a senior vice president at Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, will replace her, effective Nov. 7.
Dr. Stoner, a cardiovascular physician, has been associated with Halifax Health since 1983. He was named senior vice president and CMO in 2006. Margaret Crossman, MD, a professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine, will succeed him. Dr. Stoner will help her transition into the role in Tallahassee, and she will take over the role full time by June 2017, according to the report.
