Guthrie, a hospital system based in Sayre, Pa., has welcomed Catherine "Kate" Mohr, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, as its new system-wide CNO.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Mohr.
1. In her new role, she oversees nursing at all four Guthrie hospitals and the Guthrie Medical Group.
2. Prior to joining Guthrie, Dr. Mohr was at the Children's Hospital at Providence/Women's Services for Providence Health & Services in Alaska.
3. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the College of New Rochelle (N.Y.) and a master's degree in nursing from Duke University School of Nursing, based in Durham, N.C. She has also completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and is certified in Advanced Nursing Administration from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
