Greenwich Hospital EVP of operations, patient care services to retire: 5 takeaways

Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital's Executive Vice President of Operations and Patient Care Services Sue Brown, MSN, RN, is retiring, effective Feb. 2, 2018, according to a Hamlet Hub report.

Here are five takeaways:

1. Ms. Brown has worked at the hospital since 1985, initially serving as a manager of women's and children's health.

2. She has served in a number of leadership roles at the hospital, including chief nursing officer and senior vice president of patient care services. She assumed her current role in 2015.

3. Over the course of her career, she helped grow the obstetrics, fertility, oncology, neurology and cardiac care programs

4. She also implemented a fall prevention program that gained national recognition and was adopted at hospitals across the country.

5. Ms. Brown earned her master's degree from New York City-based Columbia University.
