Global Medical REIT, a Bethesda, Md.-based company engaged in the acquisition and leasing of healthcare facilities, named Robert Kiernan as treasurer and CFO, effective Aug. 23.
Mr. Kiernan previously served as senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of FBR & Co., a capital markets firm headquartered in Arlington, Va. Prior to joining FBR, Mr. Kiernan was senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of Arlington Asset Investment Corp.
"We are very excited to have Bob join the company as we look forward to the next stages of our evolution," said Jeffrey Busch, chairman of the board of directors for Global Medical REIT.
