Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M., has hired Michael Metts as CFO.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Metts.
1. He has 18 years of experience working with the healthcare financial environment.
2. He joins Gila Regional from the Houston area where he most recently oversaw the financial development and opening of a standalone community hospital.
3. In his new role, he will take over for Interim CFO Michael Rolph, who temporarily performed the duties of CFO while the search for a permanent officer was underway.
4. Mr. Metts started work last month and has been working with Mr. Rolph to ensure a smooth transition into his role, officials said.
