Genesis Health System in Davenport, Iowa, has named Wayne Diewald as its first COO.
Doug Cropper, CEO of GHS, said adding a COO was a step to achieve the system's future goals. "With our system operations now in the capable hands of Wayne, I will focus on our goals for population health and strategic growth as well as our vision of national leadership in quality and safety," he said in a release.
Mr. Diewald was previously president of Genesis Medical Center Davenport (Iowa) and a senior vice president of Genesis Health System.
