Pomeroy, Wash.-based Garfield County Public Hospital District selected Michael Rooney, MD, to serve as interim CEO and superintendent.
Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Rooney previously served as CMO and interim CEO at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
2. He is a retired oncology and hematology physician.
3. He will assume his new role Dec. 11.
