Galesburg (Ill.) Cottage Hospital tapped Bob Moore to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 19, according to The Register-Mail.
Mr. Moore has served as interim CEO of the hospital since June. He replaced Jim Flynn, who resigned for a new job opportunity.
Mr. Moore most recently served as the project CEO for Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Health. He has also served as CEO of rural hospitals and acute and tertiary health systems in Florida, Missouri and Illinois.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from Northcentral University in Prescott, Ariz.
