Timothy A. Churchill, interim president and CEO of Farmington, Maine-based Franklin Community Health Network, will now lead the integrated rural network permanently.
Mr. Churchill is also president and CEO of Western Maine Health in Norway. He will serve in the top post at both Franklin Community Health Network and Western Maine Health, both part of Portland-based MaineHealth.
Mr. Churchill assumed the interim president and CEO roles at FCHN in 2016, following the retirement of Rebecca Arsenault. He has served as president and CEO of Western Maine Health and its flagship, Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, since 1996.
Previously, Mr. Churchill served as CEO of St. Joseph's Hospital in Philadelphia and president of Windber (Pa.) Medical Center. He earned his MBA from Orono-based University of Maine.
