Dean Mazzoni has been named president and CEO of Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City (Ind.), according to The Times.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Mazzoni.
1. In his new role, he will oversee the creation of new hospital campus scheduled to open in 2017.
2. Mr. Mazzoni has been the vice president and site administrator at Virtua Voorhees (N.J.) Hospital the past three years.
3. Previously, he was vice president of operations at Marlton (N.J.) Hospital for six years and COO of Lebanon, Tenn.-based University Medical Center for two years.
4. Mr. Mazzoni will replace Gene Diamond, Franciscan's senior vice president and COO of inpatient services, who had been that hospital's interim CEO.
