David Freed, former Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital CEO, has been named Rockland County's acting commissioner of hospitals to lead the Summit Park Hospital & Nursing Care Center in Pomona, N.Y.
Mr. Freed led Nyack Hospital for 13 years before leaving in September 2014. Before that, he held executive positions with Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J., Hahnemann University & Hospital in Philadelphia and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Mr. Freed will succeed Donna Pauldine, who will retire Jan. 16.
