Marianna, Fla.-based Jackson Hospital CEO Larry Meese is leaving his role after eight years.

1. Mr. Meese is leaving to take on the role of CEO at a health system in Louisiana.
2. As CEO, Mr. Meese was instrumental in growing key services such as advanced diagnostic services and the Infusion Center.
3. He played a key role in the hospital's expansion, which featured a $17 million operating room and dedicated MRI suite.
4. The hospital's board and Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Services will name an interim CEO in the next few weeks.
