Estes Park (Colo.) Medical Center has selected Mark Gregson as interim CEO, according to the Trail-Gazette.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Gregson.
1. He will serve as the interim CEO while a replacement is found for former CEO Brian Herwig.
2. He has 21 years of healthcare management experience.
3. He has been in interim positions since 2005 and served at 15 different healthcare organizations.
4. He has vast knowledge and experience in small and large hospitals from all over the country, including Arizona, California, Washington and North Carolina, according to the report.
5. He received his undergraduate degree in economics and business administration from Kalamazoo (Mich.) College and his Master of Business Administration in health and hospital administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
