Providence St. Joseph Health, based in Renton, Wash., appointed Erik Wexler chief executive of the Southern California region, according to an Orange County Business Journal report.
Here are four notes:
1. The Southern California region includes facilities in the Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties.
2. Mr. Wexler most recently served as chief executive of the Providence Health & Services Los Angeles Region.
3. He succeeds Richard Afable, the former regional senior executive of Providence St. Joseph Health in Southern California, who is retiring.
4. Mr. Wexler will assume his new role immediately.
