Danville, Ky.-based Ephraim McDowell Health President and CEO Sally Davenport, RN, is retiring at the end of June, according to a report by The Advocate-Messenger.
Ms. Davenport became CEO of the health system in 2015, following the departure of Vicki Darnell. She was initially named to the role on an interim basis. She previously served as Ephraim McDowell's COO and chief nursing officer.
During her tenure as CEO, the health system became a member of the Kentucky Healthcare Collaborative and added Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg, Ky.
Ms. Davenport will help with the transition once the new CEO is selected.
Ephraim McDowell Health includes three hospitals and provides care to 119,000-plus residents in central Kentucky.
