Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision Healthcare's CFO and CIO are planning to exit the company in the coming months.
The medical group named J. Michael Bruff CFO to replace Henry Howe, who will leave the company at the beginning of January. CIO Megan Barney also plans to exit in January, and the company is searching for her successor.
Envision said in a press release that it's making changes as part of the company's "ongoing journey to being a valuable and reliable partner to clinicians, hospitals and patients."
"It has been a privilege and an honor to work alongside Henry and Megan," said Jason Owen, president and CEO of Envision. "As CFO and interim CEO, Henry led Envision through a pivotal time, positioning the medical group for growth. As CIO, Megan has played a crucial role in advancing strategic initiatives and implementing innovative solutions in how we support the delivery of care. We thank them for their strong leadership and dedication to Envision and our communities."
Mr. Bruff has begun serving as CFO alongside Mr. Howe. Mr. Bruff has more than 30 years of leadership experience and was previously CFO of ChenMed, a primary care group focused on serving older adults. He also spent time as CFO of Lifestance Health and Varian Medical Systems.
