Minneapolis-based Hennepin County Medical Center has named Emily Blomberg COO, according to Twin Cities Business.
Ms. Blomberg previously served as vice president of health system operations at Galveston-based University of Texas Medical Branch and also directed business development for the surgery department at Madison-based University of Wisconsin Health System.
"Emily brings a unique, diverse skill set to our organization," said HCMC CEO Jon Pryor, MD, according to Twin Cities Business. "Her oversight of all Hennepin Health System operations provides leadership that will help align our focus and structure within the future direction of healthcare."
Ms. Blomberg holds a master's degree in health administration from Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota.
