Elder Care Alliance promotes Adriene Iverson to CEO: 6 things to know

Alameda, Calif.-based Elder Care Alliance, a nonprofit integrated system of assisted living and memory care communities, promoted Adriene Iverson to CEO on Sept. 22, according to a news release.

Here are six things to know about Ms. Iverson.

1. As CEO, she will continue to build on ECA's strong foundation of high clinical quality, memory care programming and leadership development throughout the organization, officials said.

2. She joined Elder Care Alliance in 2010 as vice president of operations, and in this role she led a comprehensive software conversion and implemented EHRs across all of Elder Care Alliance's communities. She was also instrumental in ushering in an internationally recognized dementia care program called "I'm Still Here"in Elder Care Alliance's memory care neighborhoods.

3. In 2014, she was named vice president of strategy and business development and led the organization's comprehensive strategic planning process.

4. She was interim president and CEO since April 3, 2015.

5. Prior to joining Elder Care Alliance, Ms. Iverson served for 15 years as vice president of operations at the CNH District Church Extension Fund, a $60 million church loan fund.

6. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Santa Clara (Calif.) University.
