Manchester-based Eastern Connecticut Health Network dropped the 'interim' tag from CEO Michael Collins' title, according to a Hartford Business report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Collins has served as the health network's interim CEO since October 2016.
2. He took over ECHN soon after Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings, a for-profit company, bought the network.
3. Prior to serving as ECHN interim CEO, Mr. Collins was the network's integration officer.
4. He succeeded Peter Karl, who resigned the day before the sale to Prospect was completed.
