Berkeley Research Group, a global strategic advisory and expert consulting firm, has appointed Ruthann Russo, PhD, as a managing director in the firm's clinical economics practice based in Baltimore.
Here are four things to know about Dr. Russo.
1. She has more than two decades of experience serving healthcare clients in population health, integrative health, informatics strategies, clinical documentation improvement and compliance.
2. Throughout her career, Dr. Russo has led consulting engagements for various academic medical centers and health systems, including those with a focus on change management and transformation, behavioral health strategies and evidence-based integrative health programs for chronic conditions and patient self-care, according to BRG.
3. Dr. Russo previously served several health systems, including NYU Langone Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, both in New York City, and The Lincoln Recovery Center in Bronx, N.Y., as an integrative health practitioner and acupuncturist in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
4. She is a licensed, board-certified acupuncturist, certified integrative healthcare administrator and certified health coach.
