Paul Rothman, MD, has been appointed dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, effective July 1.
Dr. Rothman, a rheumatologist and molecular immunologist, currently serves as dean of the University of Iowa's Carver College of Medicine and as leader of the university's clinical practice plan. He succeeds Edward D. Miller, who will retire after 15 years of service.
