Dimensions Healthcare, based in Cheverly, Md., is expected to appoint Neil Moore as acting CEO, according to a Washington Business Journal report.
Mr. Moore previously served as executive vice president and CFO of Dimensions Healthcare, which he joined in 2005. He is expected to succeed Kenneth Glover. Mr. Glover volunteered to take paid leave after he confirmed he was the unnamed hospital official who had discussed a deal with former Prince George county executive Jack Johnson in 2010. Under that deal, Mr. Johnson would have given Mr. Glover oversight of county-run Dimensions Healthcare and in exchange would have received a consulting/legal job that would have paid Mr. Johnson at least $15,000 a month, according to the report.
Mr. Johnson was recently convicted and now faces sentencing for extortion and witness and evidence tampering.
Once his identity was revealed, Mr. Glover said the discussions about Mr. Johnson's consulting job never "matured" and believes no hospital employee committed any wrongdoing, according to the report. The hospital board plans to open an internal investigation.
