Mary Margaret Huizinga, MD, has joined LifePoint Hospitals, based in Brentwood, Tenn., as vice president of quality, according to a news release.
Dr. Huizinga comes to LifePoint from McKinsey & Company, where she served as an associate in its Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining McKinsey, she directed The Johns Hopkins Digestive Weight Loss Center and was an active part of the research faculty at The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Huizinga is a practicing internist and an assistant professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
