Margaret Dimond, PhD, has been named president of Ascension Michigan's Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester, effective May 1.
Here are four things to know about Dr. Dimond.
1. She has extensive experience in acute care, ambulatory and physician group organizations.
2. Most recently, she was president and CEO of Karmanos Cancer Hospital, part of Detroit-based Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. In that role, she managed clinical operations at locations in Detroit as well as Farmington Hills, Mich., and Monroe, Mich.
3. Previously, she was president and CEO of the McLaren Medical Group, the corporate ambulatory network with locations throughout the areas served by Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care.
4. Dr. Dimond earned a master's degree in public administration from University of Michigan, based in Ann Arbor, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University, based in Lansing.
