Ihor Sawczuk, MD, has been promoted to CMO and executive vice president of Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center, according to a Record report.
Dr. Sawczuk, who specializes in urology, currently serves as the hospital's vice president, chief academic officer and urology chairman. He also serves as chief of urologic oncology at the John Theurer Cancer Center, according to the report.
Dr. Sawczuk succeeds Peter Gross, MD, who is moving into a different role to focus on accountable care organizations.
