Mark Spektor, DO, has been appointed president and CEO of Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center.
Dr. Spektor succeeds Daniel Kane, who will retire Jan. 31 after five years of service to the hospital. Mr. Kane will continue to serve the hospital as chair of the board of directors and as a consultant.
Dr. Spektor currently serves as the hospital's chief medical officer and director of emergency medicine. He will continue to regularly care for patients in the emergency department while also serving as CEO.
