Humayun Khan, MD, has been named CMO of St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis., according to a report by The Chippewa Herald.
Both hospitals are part of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System.
Dr. Khan will start his new role Oct. 1. He will be working with both hospitals in areas including clinical quality and safety initiatives, patient satisfaction, hospital-physician relationships and strategic planning, according to the report.
He was previously a physician with Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire (Wis.), where he was on the board of directors.
