Dean of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.-based Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Ernest Yoder, MD, has announced his resignation, according to an article on mlive.com.
Dr. Yoder joined CMU's College of Medicine in 2010. Previously he was the vice president of medical education and research at Warren, Mich.-based St. John Health and Ascension Health and a clinical professor of medicine at Detroit-based Wayne State University Medical School.
"I have been talking with university leadership. We all agreed that it's the appropriate time for a change for perhaps a different kind of leadership to make sure the college takes the next step and achieves what it wants to achieve," Dr. Yoder told mlive.com.
Dr. Yoder's last day will be June 30, according to the article.
