Aaron E. Glatt, MD, has been appointed executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y., according to a hospital news release.
Dr. Glatt joins Mercy Medical Center from St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y., where he has served as president and CEO since 2007. He succeeds Nancy B. Simmons, RN, who has been appointed executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, N.Y. Mercy, St. Joseph and Good Samaritan are all part of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.
