Vizient named Aaron Gerber, MD, president of Sg2, a company focused on providing analytics-based healthcare intelligence solutions.
Dr. Gerber most recently served as a partner in the health and life sciences practice at Oliver Wyman. Additionally, he has held senior leadership positions at Allscripts and Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanguard Health Systems, now a part of Tenet Healthcare. He earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.
Sg2's analytics and solutions aim to help providers understand broad market dynamics and capitalize on their opportunities for growth. In his new role, Dr. Gerber will help the company expand its suite of offerings.
