Joel Keiper has been named regional chief business development officer of Detroit Medical Center, effective July 25.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Keiper.
1. In this role, he will focus on business development for DMC. He will also be responsible for physician integration, physician relations management and service line development, hospital officials said.
2. Mr. Keiper most recently served as vice president of strategic planning for Henry Ford's Health Alliance Plan, based in Detroit.
3. From 2005 to 2010, he was corporate vice president of business development and planning for DMC.
4. Mr. Keiper earned a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
