2. Prior to that, he was senior director of clinical operations & performance improvement at San Diego-based Scripps Health.
3. He is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association as well as the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
4. He holds an MBA and a nursing leadership degree from Los Angeles-based University of Southern California.
