Conrad Mallett, president of Detroit Medical Center's Sinai-Grace Hospital, has been promoted to the health system's chief administrative officer, according to a Detroit Free Press report.
In his new role, Mr. Mallett will be responsible for strategic initiatives that will expand DMC under Vanguard Health Systems, which acquired DMC in Dec. 2010.
As a result of Mr. Mallett's promotion, Reginald Eadie, MD, will step down as president of Detroit Receiving Hospital to become president of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. Meanwhile, Iris Taylor, chief business officer for DMC, will succeed Dr. Eadie at Detroit Receiving Hospital.
