Jean Meyer, president of Providence Park Hospital in Novi, Mich., has been promoted to the newly created position of president/executive vice president of acute care operations at Warren, Mich.-based St. John Providence Health System.
In this new role, Ms. Meyer will be responsible for overseeing business and clinical/patient care operations for all five system hospitals. She joined St. John Providence Health in 2008 as senior vice president and CNO. Ms. Meyer was later named COO of the Providence Region before being appointed Providence Park Hospital's president.
Ms. Meyer's appointment is effective Dec. 5.
