Margaret Peterson, PhD, CEO of Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, Calif., resigned from her post to accept a "similar position" at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to a Victorville Daily Press report.
Dr. Peterson served as CEO for the past five years.
Fred Hunter has been named Dr. Peterson's successor. He most recently served as president and CEO of Marina del Rey (Calif.) Hospital.
