Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Ind., named Nancy Kennedy, MD, CMO, a newly formed position. Dr. Kennedy is board-certified in internal medicine and most recently served as the hospital's physician quality advisor.
The hospital's administration created the new position to further develop and enhance the working relationship between the hospital and its medical staff.
Dr. Kennedy has been with DCH since 1991 and served as physician quality advisor for the last nine years. She completed her internship and residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
"We welcome Dr. Kennedy to this new Administrative Council position," said Michael W. Schwebler, Dearborn County Hospital president/CEO, in a statement. "As DCH moves forward with its strategic plan, it becomes imperative that both the hospital and its medical staff reflect the same mission, philosophy, objectives and core values to best serve our patients and the community."
