Putnam, Conn.-based Day Kimball Healthcare President and CEO Anne Diamond resigned to take a leadership role at Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital.
Ms. Diamond will become president of Bridgeport Hospital. Her last day will be Oct. 25, until which time she will continue working as executive adviser to the president and CEO. Joseph Adiletta, former chairman of Day Kimball Healthcare's board of directors, will serve as interim president and CEO of the organization.
Ms. Diamond has led Day Kimball Healthcare for the last two years. Among her accomplishments is Day Kimball Healthcare's pending partnership with Prospect Medical Holdings, a for-profit hospital operator based in Los Angeles.
Previously, Ms. Diamond was CEO of at UConn Health's John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Conn. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
She holds a law degree from Concord School of Law in Los Angeles and holds certification as a nuclear medicine technologist.
