St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio, has appointed Dale Gisi president, The Lima News reports.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Gisi.
1. He has more than 22 years of executive and operational healthcare experience.
2. Most recently, he joined Cincinnati-based Mercy Health in 2014 as vice president of operations at SRMC. In that role, he was responsible for various areas, including cardiovascular services, surgical services, medical imaging, ambulatory surgery, New Vision Laboratory, physical plant, athletic training, pharmacy, respiratory care, outpatient express testing and laparoscopic-assisted colonoscopic polypectomy, according to the report.
3. Prior to joining Mercy Health, he was vice president of human resources at Rapid City, S.D.-based Regional Health.
4. He has a degree in healthcare administration and holds certifications as a senior professional of human resources and a licensed nursing home administrator.
