Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ill., selected Amanda Basso, MSN, RN, to serve as CEO, according to a Mt. Vernon Register-News report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Most recently, Ms. Basso provided healthcare consulting services to the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network, Anesthesia Associates of Southern Illinois in Marion and Integritas Emergency Physicians in Carbondale, Ill.
2. Prior to that, she was CEO of Clay County Hospital in Flora Ill.
3. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. She succeeds Finny Mathew, who left to take on the president role at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Okla.
