Coquille (Ore.) Valley Hospital, has hired Karen Lautermilch as CEO.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Lautermilch.
1. Ms. Lautermilch, a skilled healthcare executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience, will begin her new job Aug. 3.
2. Formerly, Ms. Lautermilch was CEO of Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services in Gallup, N.M. She also previously served as chief patient officer at HighlineMedicalCenter in Seattle and CNO at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wis.
3. Ms. Lautermilch earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. She also earned a Master of Nursing from the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
