COPE Health Solutions, a healthcare consulting firm based in Los Angeles, has named Sajid Sindha vice president. Mr. Sindha specializes in strategic planning and execution as well as managing and improving clinical operations.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Sindha.
1. He joins COPE Health Solutions with nearly two decades of experience in leading and facilitating strategic discussions with technology, healthcare and physician leaders while at Dublin, Ireland-based Accenture, UnitedHealth Group, Denver-based DaVita HealthCare Partners and Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.
2. Before joining COPE Health Solutions, Mr. Sindha was vice president and assistant medical group administrator at Kaiser Permanente.
3. During his tenure at Kaiser Permanente, he built and led internal consulting departments to support performance improvement, innovation and strategic initiatives for Kaiser's medical centers in southern California, according to a news release. He also was responsible for developing and executing ambulatory and hospital strategic plans, and led multiple innovation business cases and healthcare transformation projects for cardiology, women's health, and primary care service lines as well as launching an orthopedics travel surgery program. Additionally, he provided clinical operations oversight for laboratory/pathology and occupational health services departments.
4. Previously, Mr. Sindha also held director level roles at DaVita HealthCare Partners and UnitedHealth Group. He had also previously served as a Senior Consultant for system integration and business transformation projects while at Accenture.
5. Mr. Sindha earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.
