John Garrett, CFO of Cooper Green Mercy Hospital in Birmingham, Ala., has announced he will resign, effective Nov. 30, according to a report by Alabama Live.
Mr. Garrett has been with CGMH since 2006 and has served as CFO since 2009.
The county-owned hospital has been struggling financially, and the Jefferson County Commission voted to close the inpatient care unit at the hospital earlier this year.
